📝 Detailed Description
🚐 We meet at the designated location where you and your bike (e-bike rental available) board the transport, heading to Aiud, Alba County – the starting point of our cycling adventure.
🏰 We visit the 14th-century Aiud Citadel, then pedal on one of Transylvania's most spectacular routes: Transapuseni! Through ancient beech forests and villages with wooden houses covered in straw, it feels like a fairytale. We’ll take many photo breaks before reaching the stunning Vânătările Ponorului Waterfall.
🏡 We descend to Subpiatră village and check in at a traditional guesthouse. Enjoy dinner and reflect on the beautiful day spent cycling! 🌄
🌅 After breakfast, we continue our adventure along the Arieș Valley towards Rimetea. This picturesque village, awarded the Europa Nostra Prize in 1999, offers a breathtaking mix of traditional white houses against dramatic mountain backdrops. We'll explore and take photos before heading back through the Vălișoara Gorge.
